Composed of Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals/guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums/background vocals), Steve Maggiora (keys/background vocals), Henry James (lead guitar), and Warren Murrel (bass), Robert Jon & The Wreck are currently writing their fifth LP. The lobbying group stated back in June that 90 percent of its 2,000+ members in all 50 states will be forced to permanently close if they do not receive substantial government assistance. This announcement comes as various state officials across the country continue to keep concert venues closed for the foreseeable future and the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA)’s calls for federal aid via the Save Our Stages Bill go unanswered. The Boca Raton, FL bar and restaurant featuring nightly music will close its doors on September 1st. Owners of The Funky Biscuit took to social media on Monday to announce the venue’s closure. ![]()
